Myanmar Parliament adopts proposal to use Israel & Trump as strategic models re: UN investigations of genocide and other crimes

#Trump #Netanyahu are #Myanmar's sources of inspiration. NLD-controlled parliament unanimously decided to discuss army's proxy MP's proposal to adopt #Israel as a model to counter @UNHumanRights investigation of genocide #Rohingya & crimes in #Kachin #Shan.

This 7-minutes speech delivered by MP and ex-Admiral Nyan Htun, an American-trained graduate of Burma's Defence Services Academy and former Vice President (under thein Sein) captured the strategic rationale and paranoia that has been the hallmark of Burmese military since 1962

The key points:

1) United Nations has succumbed to the  joint conspiracy by EU and OIC states to interfere in the soverign affairs of Myanmar.

2) UN Fact Finding Mission  mandated by the Human Rights Council has issued this non-credible, methodologically flawed, and substantively un-fair, one-side report.

3) The report has the potential to trigger the break-up of Myanmar:  it is a script in driving the wedge among Myanmar's indigenous peoples.

4) The Free Rohingya Coalition and Columbia University had collaborated in hosting this conference in New York recently.

5) At the FRC conference, UN Fact Finding Mission member Radhika Coomaraswamy spoke and further elaborated on the 62-member investigative body, which enjoys the budget of US$26 mllion (Zarni's remark - the military's proxy didn't even get the figures right: the correct amount of US$ 28 millions)

6) Trump and her then ambassador Nicki Haley dismissed the Human Rights Council as a 'cess pool of political bias" and Trump trashed that body.

7) Israeli leaders  - Shimon Peres, Netanyahu, and Avigor Lieberman - have all responded very strongly and strategically to all UN allegations and fact finding mission reports on Palestinians.

9)  Myanmar need to have similarly agreessive Grand Strategy to respond to these external plot to break up Myanmar.

10) We Myanmar are the victims of these external conspiracies:  we are victims, but we have been portrayed as perpetrators.

11) we have our own credibly and able internal inquiry commissions - which UN fact Finding Mission dismissed, rather outrageously as incompetent and non-independent politically.

12) we need to speak with One Voice, irrespective of our party loyalties, ethnic, racial and regional differences, as well as personal differences.

13) our country is confronted with the grave danger of a BREAK-UP, potentially, as the direct result of these mounting pressures and punitive measures.

14) our troops have done nothing wrong: we acted in accord with the international rule of engagement when we repelled the assualt by ARSA terrorists.

15) let's not forget "united we stand, divided we fall" - as the Union of Myanmar.

16) ONE VOICE, ONE NATION.
